PEARLAND CITY COUNCILMAN TONY CARBONE FILES FOR RE-ELECTION

Current councilman, Certified Public Accountant, small business owner and long-time Pearland advocate, Tony Carbone, announced that he filed for re-election in the race for Pearland City Council, Position 2.

"My family has roots five generations deep in this community, and I am fortunate to have the chance to serve it," said Carbone. "Strengthening our local businesses, improving public safety, and reducing the tax burden on families are at the top of my agenda. I will work to continue bringing the no-nonsense, practical leadership to our city that voters have learned to expect from me."

Carbone has previously served on City Council, Position 1, and as Mayor Pro Tem. He is known for promoting the growth of small business in Pearland, and for being a strong voice for taxpayers. Carbone, a strong advocate for public safety, was the recipient of the Appreciation Award from the Pearland Police Officer Association for his work on council.

Tony and his wife Crystal are long time servants to the community. The Carbones have three young daughters that they are raising in Pearland, and they are active members of New Hope Church.
